About

Max Yanacek’s work doesn’t belong in a gallery. It likely wouldn’t do much good in one. His art doesn’t hold any deeper meaning; he’s really just a guy trying to have fun while helping others do the same. As a natural result, Max’s work tackles the ways in which we all can interact with the world more playfully. With an emphasis on a lighthearted approach to design, he aims to break the barrier between the artist and the non-artist.

A multidisciplinary designer and life-long learner, Max continues to broaden his creative toolbox in every way he can find, exhibiting craftsmanship with modern and traditional processes to create elegant and efficient solutions to everyday problems.

Leaving his beginnings in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Max continued developing his creative practice at The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, studying Product Design and Graphic Arts. The new city kick-started his journey in engaging with problem-solvers of all trades and backgrounds and studying the interactions between people and the physical things they surround themselves with.
